Cane toads abound in australia
rib-bit rib-bit come to work it
but they don’t do their job, eradicating beetles
Brought to work
they’re busy, but not as your’d expect
they’re busy making more cane toads
rib-bit rib-bit – root like rabbits
making hay & laughing while the Queensland sun
shines from their bum
and all the while the beetles thrive
for toads ignore them dead or alive
and farmers try to catch them
but they move so fast they’ve reached the south
Wish we could remove that smile
wipe it from the slimy mouth
But best of all ‘d be
that the 200 million bloated toads meeting daily mating gaily
stop what they are doing and croak
But they won’t croak and toads don’t seem to get headaches
wish there was a pill for that
