What’s the difference!
 carnivore, vegetarian
 even vegans still must eat
 needing jaws to chew & chatter
Your veiled visage hides what I would see
 and so, my wilderness imagines
 running rife to rumor, wonders

What do you believe and who
Did virgin Mary have a lamb
Did the shepherd lead her on
 to Allah where all brides belong
Where on earth without Nirvana
Do angels harp?
What’s the sound that chimes my conscience
Is it the same one rings your bell
 yet you would call me ding-a-ling.

That thing of sweet and sour shows
 opposites attract
T’is our skin holds us together
 we differ only in our spirits
 & hold belief as if it’s tangible

Who is god that sings your soul
 who surely knows mankind needs be
 beloved cognizant of all as beautiful.
We can own that each unique
That difference is mind over matter
