Oh…. ho ho ho – it’s Christmas
When the Christmas spirit is lost
Then lonely souls
hang baubles on an empty tree
A life unwrapped
its gift
A hidden joyless misery
Not everyone enjoys the festive season
the twinkling fades when family is rare
Drink ye a toast of yuletide cheer
yet think with your heart and open your hand
look what you have
you’re holding kindness
I reckon Xmas is a time we ALL should share
So make a friend an offering of time
lend your ear, be someone who’s there
light up the eyes
lift up the magic
that’s; a gift, and it’s found in the corner of a smile
