The secret of words

16 #NapoWriMo

I like to play with words
To find the secret of their meaning
Like the surprises in homonyms
and I really smile at the double entendre
I like to play, but not around
Fun is fine, let acting be for drama
Not for real, or using people

The internet has taken play to a whole new level
I saw the warnings too. Beware the player.
I learned the strength of words
How they mesmerize and dance and charm
How a wordsmith wields a mighty power

A writer or a poet with a pen
Can penetrate the mind and make believe

The secret of words is that they can hurt you
One can trust words only by their actualization
The Mwah mwah written kiss doesn’t quite do it for me anymore
Sex is better in the flesh – real is romance, tactile best

I’ve yet to learn about the rules. But there’s certainly a game
And it’s Played upon the worldwide stage.
